CHARACTERISTICS OF A JIHADIST
This course is designed to give a basic working knowledge of terror suspects as well as Homicide/Suicide Bombers and the basic ability to recognize and properly identify them.
This course is a general overview of international as well as domestic Jihadist and radicalized converts operating throughout United States and Canada. This course explores the alarming rate in which radicalized converts and “home grown” terrorist are growing. Our nationally recognized Subject Matter Experts detail the “lone wolf” individuals and ideology of radical converts which have elevated these individuals to an international security risk. Using a stepped approached and adult based learning techniques, we highlight the social, economic and physiological reasons individuals join terror groups. We also detail the ideology and extended plans these groups have for global expansion.
The recognition and identification portion of this course highlights Jihadist/Mujahedeen history, hand signs, clothing, jewelry, use of social media propaganda, and ideologies these individuals outwardly believe and display. At the completion of the course the student will be able to enhance their recognition and identification abilities, understand and decipher terrorist monikers, and characteristics.
COMPREHENSIVE COUNTER TERRORISM INVESTIGATIONS
This two day comprehensive course detailing a history of radical Islamic terrorist, identification and recognition of a Jihadist, monkiers and the tell telltale signs of self radicals and “lone wolf” terrorist. The course details the prolific use of the internet as a recruitment tool and the exploitation of the internet to spread their ideology and propaganda globally. Our SME provides the investigative tools and techniques used to locate and track jihadists throughout world with the use of open source on line resources and social media software.
Through training and real world experience our prior military service SME details the manufacturing, construction, identification and common indicators of Improvised Explosive Devices and V.B.I.E.D being deployed in combat theaters throughout the world. As part of this portion of the course the students will be afforded the opportunity to handle and examine dozens of inert I.E.D devices, triggers, switches and detonators.
The contraband concealment portion of the course highlights the techniques used to conducted a methodical comprehensive sweep/search of a vehicle and the indicators associated with natural void and manufactured compartments to transport, conceal and detonate V.B.I.E.D.
