Advanced Undercover Operators Course
PGI’s Advanced Undercover Operators Course highlights the new contexts and challenges for
contemporary law enforcement officers and agents conducting undercover operations in the everchanging
landscape of criminal enforcement. PGI has developed this two-day advanced course
for Federal, Provincial, State and local agencies conducting covert operations using confidential
informants, human sources and undercover operators. This course focuses on the preparation and
planning of these operations as well as the inherent dangers associated with undercover
operations, specifically the unspoken indicators of potential violence.
The course is presented using lecture, power point and undercover scenarios, ranging from street
level walk-up narcotics buys to firearm purchases. At the completions of the course, students will
have been tasked with conducting a full undercover operation from set-up call to arrest.
